Jet Label gave us a design and needed it coded with a number of jQuery elements such as the interactive rollers, animated scrolling, and the countdown ticker. The site implements @font-faces to improve visual aesthetics, and is also compatible on all mobile devices.

Alberta Gold Buyers is located on Stony Plain Road in Edmonton, Alberta.  Alberta Gold Buyers has over 50 years of experience in the gold and diamond industry and has the latest tools and equipment to make sure that their customers get the most accurate price for their gold.

Project Summary:

Alberta Gold Buyers wanted a one page website that contained all the quick and necessary information potential customers would need. It quickly became apparent that there was a little too much content to add all the information to one  single web page, so as a solution we created a single long webpage that contained all the information, but was still navigable via a traditional horizontal menu bar.

ABODE CONCEPTS is a residential architectural design, construction, and space transformation company based in Calgary, Alberta. Abode develops architectural plans and executable blue prints together with costs for either new builds or the restoration of an existing property or space.

Project Summary:

Pixel Designs was commissioned to prepare multiple large format signs that could be used on lawns of currently renovated homes, and for use at trade shows. These signs ranged in size from 24″ x 26″ to 72″ x 30″.

Safeopedia is a groundbreaking concept to allow an open-sourced forum to track all things safety in one central site. It will operate on the Wikipedia model where experts in their fields can directly access and post the information directly to the site.

Project Summary:

Safeopedia has a focus on the energy and construction industries and as such the primary users of their service are the safety officers of these companies. They are representing multi-billion dollar organizations so they needed a logo that was professional and stood out from the crowd. Something that was discussed during the design process was the idea of safety officers being the superheros of their company and as such Safeopedia should be branded as a “Hero”. From this the design of the safety shield was developed as the forefront for Safeopedia.

Camp BB Riback is a Jewish summer camp located along the scenic shores of Pine Lake, Alberta, Canada. Every summer caring and enthusiastic counsellors offer a wide variety of creative programs for kids in grades one to ten. They pride themselves in the belief that every child is unique and deserves the opportunity to experience a full, enriching summer. Camp BB Riback has one of the most extensive land sports programs in Western Canada. Activities include horseback riding, mountain biking, canoeing, swimming, water skiing, and wakeboarding.

Project Summary:

The original Camp BB Riback website was built in 1998 and was beginning to show its age. Unable to render properly in modern or moblie browsers, Camp BB Riback need to completely rebuild the infrastructure of their website. It was also determined that a content management system (CMS) was needed so that updates could be made remotely from the camp without having to contact a web designer or developer during the summer months, their busiest time of the year.
