Safeopedia is a groundbreaking concept to allow an open-sourced forum to track all things safety in one central site. It will operate on the Wikipedia model where experts in their fields can directly access and post the information directly to the site.

Project Summary:
Safeopedia has a focus on the energy and construction industries and as such the primary users of their service are the safety officers of these companies. They are multi-billion dollar organizations so they needed a logo that was very professional and stood out from the crowd. One of the idea that was talked about during design meetings was the idea of safety officers being the superhero’s of their company’s and as such Safeopedia should be branded as a “Hero”. From this the idea of the safety shield was developed.
